I don’t run often, but when I do, I prefer to know how far I’ve gone.
So I asked someone who is a runner and he turned me onto these two little tips.
Is a handy little site that lets you click to map out your route via Google maps. You can get street view, elevation maps, and it’ll display your distance in miles or kilometers.
Is an iOS app that’ll do the same but via GPS, straight from your phone. The added benefit to keeping this little guy running, while you are, is it can track your speed and shout out mile markers and encouragement along the way. If you upgrade you can also share your progress and routes socially.
